Pneuma & Lingua Nova Style

Lingua Nova Style is a poetic mode that juxtaposes words from different domains of existence — not to create meaning, but to generate resonance across dimensions that do not normally intersect.

The result is non-logical poetry: not illogical or chaotic, but operating at the edge of logic where language drifts free of its semantic anchors. In this space, words become sounds, sounds become textures, and textures become pathways into experiences that resist interpretation.

Pneuma — ancient Greek for breath, spirit, wind — names both the project and its animating principle. Like breath, meaning passes through us without being grasped. Like wind, it shapes what it touches without being seen.
